How coverage actually works.
Coverage isn't a town. It's an address.
Tower to roof. No buried lines.
We mount a small antenna outside your house and link it to the nearest Alabama Lightwave tower. The signal goes through the air. Nothing to dig up, nothing to fall in a storm.
Coverage is per address, not per town.
Being in a town we serve doesn't guarantee service at your spot. Distance from the tower, terrain, and tree canopy all matter. Plug your address in and we'll tell you.
Some radios punch trees. Others want a clean shot.
Our newer radios go through moderate tree canopy. Heavier coverage needs line of sight to the tower. We figure out which one fits your address before we install.
Built to outlast the grid.
Battery backup on every site. Generators on the critical ones, with more going in as we upgrade. We're continuously hardening sites against Alabama's flakey land-based power. The severe-weather feeds in the Lightwave LINK app stay live.
On the roadmap
Where we're going next.
We're adding towers regularly. If you're outside our footprint today, tell us where you are. When a tower goes up nearby, we'll let you know.

Coverage is decided one address at a time. The fastest way to know is to ask the checker.
